Specific Project Request: PA Sound Equipment
Purpose: To provide for the Lubin Church Plant a good sound system. One that will be used now and in the future. In the year 2005 the Lubin Church plant was established in the city of Lubin, Poland. Over the last 5 years the ministries of the church plant have multiplied. Some current and previous ministries in which a sound system is in great need include: A Language center with approximately 120 students, coffee house, ladies teas, business workshop, kid’s club, scouting events, Summer teams, VBS, concerts, Christmas and other Holiday events, annual block party, meetings (other outside groups who use the facilities), Gospel workshops, helping at a school and day care center for those physically and or mentally challenged, work in a women’s shelter, Christmas and other events not located at the coffee house, some future ministry could include going to the prison in Wołów in conjunction with the Wołów Church Plant, playing at group homes in Ścinawa, showing evangelistic films outside, playing music at the home for older people and lastly but not leastly the system would be used heavily during our Sunday worship services. Having a sound system will help us in every aspect of the ministry of the Lubin Church Plant. It will encourage and bless not only those who attend our services but everyone one who attends the various events that are organized by the Lubin Church. It will help in every aspect of the ministry.
Cost: The total cost of the sound equipment as estimated is $4230.16. We are requesting $5000.00 because of the VAT tax which could incur as it enters Poland. Any funds left over will be used to purchase any other equipment and or cables that are necessary. Carvin in Germany was also contacted. Their bid was approximately $1800.00 higher than the bid from California.
